Missing Big Ben
The Steelers are without Big Ben Roesthlisberger for the next 4 to 6 weeks and Micheal Vick will start in his place.
You could expect some fall-off in the offense, especially since they face the winless Baltimore Ravens in a Thursday night game.
The playbook will be extremely cutback this week in order to get the best from Micheal Vick.
This game will be interesting to watch as Le’Veon Bell returned last week against the Rams and played well. He will get plenty of touches without Big Ben in, but Micheal Vick is no slouch. He is not the same player that entered the league 15 years ago but he is still electric, and still has great arm strength.
The big difference between the star quarterbacks, besides experience with the team, is that Micheal Vick is left-handed and Ben is right-handed. Adjusting to the rotation of the ball is vital and if the play breaks down, Vick is going to go the opposite way Ben does. They should be ok, but dont expect to see throws in tight coverage like Ben has all season.
The main concern though is that Vick is prone to turn the ball over, either by fumble or interception. If he minimizes the turnovers, the Steelers should play well.
It will be an interesting game as always, and the Steelers could squeak it out if Vick doesnt turn the ball over too much and if the defense plays well as a team, like they have the past 2 weeks.
