2017 Playoff Preview
1. Look ma no hands (10-3) – BYE
With the best record on the season, Look ma no hands will enjoy a first round bye for the second straight season.
2. Tittsburgh Feelers (9-4) – BYE
Finishing with the second best record for the second straight year, and securing a 3rd straight playoff bye. James has made the playoffs for the sixth straight season.
3. Bleeds Black-N-Gold (7-6) vs 6. The Dominator (6-7)
Bleeds Black-N-Gold has won 5 of their last 6 games, and leads the league in points. Jim has made the playoffs six years in-a-row, maybe this will be the year.
The Dominator started off the season at 0-3, but strung together some wins late in the season to secure a playoff spot. Chelsie has yet to end a season with a winning record, but she is in the playoffs for a third straight season.
Each team won a game in head-to-head match-ups this season, as well as the previous two seasons – regular season series stands at (3-3). The Dominator did knock Bleeds Black-N-Gold out of the playoffs in 2015, but with the points that Jim is putting up, I wouldn’t count on that happening again.
4. 6 Ringers (7-6) vs 5. Helmet Wearers (7-6)
After starting off the season 5-2, Jon has dropped 4 of the last 6 games, but is looking strong in this first round of the playoffs. 6 Ringers finished 4th in scoring on the season, and secured his fifth straight playoff appearance.
Much like Jon, Helmet Wearers finished the first half of the season strong, posting a 5-1 record. However, a four-game losing streak dropped Kyle in the standings, and he limped into the playoffs. At 7th in scoring, it may be too much of a challenge for Helmet Wearers to make it to the Championship.
6 Ringers has won both match-ups between these teams this season, and is 9-3 All-Time against Helmet Wearers.
