Round 1 Recap:

The Dominator beats Bleeds Black-N-Gold, 119.78 – 116.44

This game was close, but not in an exciting, shootout type of close. Bleeds Black-N-Gold only had 1 player reach/exceed their projected total, and it left them 19pts off of their projected total; which would have been enough to beat The Dominator.

Jim has now been bounced from the playoffs in the first round in 3-straight seasons. Consider a name change! One that references the Bungles…

Chelsie is now 2-0 against Jim in the playoffs, and will move on to play Look ma no hands in the second round.

Helmet Wearers bests 6 Ringers, 126.96+ – 119.44

For 6 Ringers, this might have been a game of ‘what-ifs’. What-if they started Prescott, Crowell, and Crabtree, would it have been enough? Unfortunately, that is a look after the fact, and the fact is, Helmet Wearers pulled off an unexpected over-achievement.

Jon falls to a 2-5 playoff record. In his 5 playoff appearances, he has only posted a win in one of them; the other 4 have been 1-and-done.

Kyle improves to 5-2 in the playoffs, all-time, and will face the Tittsburgh Feelers in the next round.
